GOOD PRACTICES IN THE USE OF PERSONAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS
The report on good practice in the use of Personal Learning Environments aims to select and analyse some of the different best initiatives developed in this field and to identify the main characteristics required in the PwD Employ Personal Learning Environment.
The partnership has developed a series of national analyses, under the base of a methodological approach which is contained in the first section of the report. For these activities, the project team developed some tools based in web 2.0; a wiki, a blog and a Diigo bibliographical database. In addition, each partner has carried out some interviews and bibliographical source analysis to define the current situation of ICT in each participant country and the development of the PLEs.
We then selected a set of good practices that show some interesting experiences in the PLEs in each participant country.
The report is structured in five different sections. The first section is intended to introduce an overview of the methodology used for the analysis activities. The state of the art use of ICT technologies in each participant country is the object of the second section. Country by country, we can know the results of the different research developed by each partner; not only in the use of ICT, but in the learning activities developed with the support of the ICT technologies.
We have elaborated a short overview about the main characteristics of PLEs, before introducing the good practices. Finally, the good practices in the use of PLEs gathered by the participating partners are presented.
